I knew Dave through his volunteering work with the Woodland Trust and Ness Botanic Gardens. Always passionate about the environment, so hard-working, a countryside explorer, a scientific mind, a creative engineer, a witty conversationalist, a great debater but most of all a ray of sunshine even on the dullest of days. Will miss Dave so very, very much. My thoughts are with Dave's family and close friends - your memories of him will make you smile on a dull day for sure.
